In the context of the performance of our activities and/or the provision of services, we may collect the aforementioned personal data from you in the following cases:

When you place an order, we need your name, e-mail address, billing address, delivery address, VAT number and payment details to process your order and to keep you informed of its progress.
In order to make shopping at SpareIT as pleasant as possible, we store your personal data and the data related to your order and the use of our services with your consent. This allows us to personalise the website and recommend titles that may be of interest to you. For this purpose, we use, for example, data from previous orders, browser data, your IP address, location data based on your IP address and surfing and search behaviour stored in cookies. With your consent, we use your data to inform you about the development of the website and about special offers and promotions. This includes our mailing and newsletter. If you no longer wish to receive this, please let us know by sending an e-mail to info@spareit.nl.
If you create an account with SpareIT, we store your data on a Secure Server. In your SpareIT account we store information such as your name, telephone number, e-mail address, billing address, delivery address, VAT number and payment details, so that you do not have to fill them in with every new order.
If you decide to write a review, you can choose whether to add your name or other personal information. We are interested in the opinions of our visitors, but reserve the right not to publish contributions that do not comply with our website conditions.
If you respond to a promotion or competition, we ask for your name, address and e-mail address. We use this data to carry out the promotion, to announce the prize winner(s), and to measure the response to our marketing campaigns.

We use the aforementioned personal data with your consent and on the basis of the execution of the agreement and a legitimate interest.

Newsletter, mailing and marketing purposes
You can sign up for our newsletter via our website. In this newsletter we inform you by e-mail about information, news and developments of our products and services. For this purpose, we process the following personal data:

Apply for a job with us
Have you responded to one of our vacancies or have you sent an open application? Then we process your personal data in order to be able to process your application. For this purpose, we process the following personal data:

We use this data on the basis of your consent in preparation for the possible conclusion of an employment contract. If you do not enter into employment with us at the end of the application procedure, we will not store the application data for more than six weeks after the end of the procedure. This way we can still approach you if the previous candidate turns out not to be suitable on closer inspection. If we are unable to offer you a position at this time, we may – with your consent – retain your application data for a maximum of one year after the end of the application process. You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending us an email. If you come to work for us, we will store your application data in the personnel file.

3. Sharing of personal data

SpareIT may, in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations, exchange your personal data between entities belonging to the SpareIT group.
SpareIT also provides your data to a limited circle of third parties who process the data for administrative purposes.

Payment providers: for the processing of payment transactions, we provide your data, depending on the payment method, to PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie or Multisafepay.nl.
Carriers: in order to ship your package, we transfer your address details to the carrier of your package (e.g. UPS, FedEx, TNT).
Email marketing: if you sign up for the newsletter, your data will be shared with The Rocket Science Group, LLC d/b/a MailChimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
Data analysis: in order to be able to continuously improve our website, we may pass on data to parties with whom we carry out data analysis.
Sales tracking: in order to reward certain parties for making transactions, we also provide data to marketing channels (e.g. Google AdWords, Microsoft Advertising, Tweakers) in some cases.
Reviews: You may receive an email from us to leave a review about your experience with our shop. This is completely non-binding and can also be ignored. This e-mail will be sent once.

SpareIT only provides your personal data to third parties who are involved in the execution of your order. Our employees and third parties engaged by us are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data. Third parties involved may include: delivery services, repairers, payment partners, debt collection agencies and bailiffs, IT service providers and parties that collect our reviews. Delivery services deliver your order to the right address. Sometimes we use another party to carry out repairs to products that you have purchased from us. That party can use your data for this purpose. Parties that take care of data management, media and advertising and research come into the picture as soon as we want to give you personal advice or show you targeted advertisements, for example based on your interest in certain products.

If you meet our conditions to buy on account, we will have your creditworthiness checked. We use external agencies for this. For the purpose of this credit investigation, we may give your data to others, who may only use this data for that purpose. In addition, we may call you to remind you of an invoice that has expired. Sometimes others make that phone call for us. We may also pass on your data to a collection agency and/or bailiff who collects unpaid invoices on our behalf. 5. Retention of your personal data

SpareIT does not store and use your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which your personal data were collected and processed. After that, your personal data will be deleted. We can use your data anonymously, because we need certain data for internal analyses and reports. We will also delete your personal data if it is found to be outdated or if the data subject requests its deletion himself. The foregoing does not apply if SpareIT is obliged by law to retain your personal data for a longer period of time or if we have another legitimate reason to retain your personal data for a longer period.
